She lives among the shadows
Trapped inside the restless night
Where her worries and desires
Are forever bound to fight
And the armour that I'm wearing
Is slowly growing thin
As the presence of her absence
Seems to slip beneath my skin
And I dreamed all night about her
Dancing among the trees
And I couldn't live without her
Breath upon the breeze
In the darkness of my room
There's an eerie, quiet noise
And if I listen very hard
I can almost hear her voice
And I open up the window
To smell the spirits of the night
And I swear I saw her shadow flash before my sight
And I dreamed all night etc.
